Rob Walsh

After spending the first 10 years of my professional career with a Fortune 500 company as a Cost and Project Manager, I took that knowledge and transitioned to personal financial planning 2011.  In 2012 I had the opportunity to partner and learn from one of the top CFP’s in the country.  After 8 years there, and with an eye on returning closer to home, I knew it was time for me to go out on my own.

Birds Eye Wealth is the culmination of everything I have learned, both good and bad, over the past 20 years in corporate and personal finance and planning.  My process continues to evolve and today it is a truly comprehensive and macro (bird’s eye) view of your finances.  With the macro view in focus, we continue to drill down and address the specific, or micro concepts to ensure a self-completing and thorough financial plan.  Your plan includes risk management, investment management, tax strategies, behavioral finance strategies and, most importantly, goals based financial planning.

Before I get to know you, here is a little bit more about me.  I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rider University where I was a 4-year member and captain of the baseball team.  I’m actively involved in my Howell community spending much of my free time as a volunteer baseball coach for my son and other youth players throughout Monmouth County.  I’ve been an active fundraiser for the Special Olympics and Wounded Warrior through my 7 Tough Mudder events that I have competed in.  However, the cause most near and dear to my heart Is being the President of the BJ Thomas Memorial Scholarship Foundation.  BJ was an amazing friend and fellow Howell coach that we lost way too early.  You can learn more about BJ and the foundation here.
